Flexo Label Advantage Group LLC (FLAG) has announced its June Lunch & Learn, “How Flexographic Printers Can Attract, Train & Retain Talent.” The event will take place Tuesday, June 23 at 12:00 PM EST.

Catherine Haynes, executive vice president at All Printing Resources (APR), will present in a special interview-style Lunch & Learn. The interview will focus on one of the biggest challenges facing flexographic printers today: building and keeping a skilled workforce.

Labor shortages, skill gaps, onboarding challenges, and retention issues continue to impact printers across North America. During this live virtual session, Haynes will discuss proven workforce development strategies that can help companies recruit more effectively, onboard faster, build operator confidence, and create stronger career pathways for employees.

Benefits of FlexoAcademy

The conversation will also highlight how companies are using FlexoAcademy, APR’s flexible online and blended training platform. The platform also supports continuous learning and strengthens teams for the future. APR designed FlexoAcademy to help converters build a more consistent training foundation. This occurs through online flexographic fundamentals, instructor engagement, technical discussion, and practical application.

“The companies that win the workforce battle are going to be the ones that get serious about training,” says JC McKay, president of FLAG. “The converters that can attract people, train them faster, and keep them engaged are going to separate themselves from the pack. This Lunch & Learn gives FLAG members direct access to a vendor partner that is helping companies do exactly that.”

This Lunch & Learn will give FLAG members the opportunity to ask questions, hear proven recommendations, and explore how a more structured approach to training can support production, quality, employee confidence, and long-term business growth.

This event is exclusive to FLAG members, and registration is required. FLAG encourages members to invite leadership, HR, operations, production, training, quality, and prepress team members who are involved in recruiting, onboarding, employee development, or workforce planning.
