Durst Group will celebrate its 90th anniversary with the Durst NEXT Technology Festival, taking place June 25–26, 2026, at its headquarters in Brixen, South Tyrol, Italy.

Founded in 1936, Durst has evolved from a photographic imaging company into a global provider of digital production and industrial printing solutions. The anniversary event, built around the theme “Our World is Printed,” will combine reflection on the company’s heritage with a forward-looking focus on automation, artificial intelligence, and Industrial Intelligence.

“Durst started 90 years ago with a clear idea: to make good things better,” says Christoph Gamper, CEO and co-owner of Durst Group. “This idea continues to guide us today. With digital production, automation and Industrial Intelligence, we are building on our heritage and looking ahead to the next chapter of industrial production. The Durst NEXT Technology Festival gives us the opportunity to open our doors, bring people together and discuss this future in Brixen.”

Rachel Brill, Durst NEXT Technology Festival director and founder of CHAPT3R, Inc., comments, “Industrial innovation has always been shaped by the ability to connect people, ideas and technologies. Durst NEXT creates a setting where visitors can experience how automation, artificial intelligence and Industrial Intelligence are becoming part of real production environments – and how these developments can open new perspectives for industry, business and society.”

The two-day event is designed as an open platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, bringing together stakeholders from across print, manufacturing, technology, and academia. Discussions will center on how industrial production is evolving in response to increasing automation, data integration, and AI-driven decision-making.

A key highlight will be the introduction of KYVERIS, Durst’s new Industrial Intelligence platform for digital print production. The system is designed to connect hardware, software, and data workflows to create more adaptive and efficient production environments.

The festival will also feature live demonstrations and exhibits showcasing applications such as robotics, digital workflows, 3D scanning, and technical ceramics, alongside panel discussions on topics including digital twins, sustainable production, and advanced manufacturing.

On June 25, Durst will host the inaugural Durst NEXT Honors, an invite-only event recognizing customer and partner contributions. The following day will open to a broader audience, with a full program of presentations, demonstrations, and networking opportunities.

The event underscores Durst’s continued focus on innovation and collaboration as the printing industry moves toward increasingly connected and automated production models.
