Channeled Resources Group (CRG), a women-owned, third-generation, family-owned and operated manufacturer of release liners, shipping, warehouse and Product ID labels, pressure sensitive roll labelstock, as well as one of the world’s largest suppliers of reprocessed, coated, treated, and laminated papers and films, has announced that Cindy White, president, and Ginnie Gandy, sales manager – Release Liner, will present an upcoming webinar through the Pressure Sensitive Tape Council’s Women in the Tape Industry program.
The webinar, “Ladder to Leadership: Navigating Career, Family, and Allyship in Manufacturing,” will take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 11:45 a.m. CT. The 45-minute session will include a 30-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes of Q&A.
As a mother-daughter duo working in the manufacturing and tape industries, White and Gandy will share their perspectives on building a career, leading within a traditionally male-dominated industry, and supporting the next generation of women in manufacturing.
The session will explore what it means to create an “Empowered Women Empower Women” culture. This includes the importance of competency, confidence, sponsorship, flexibility, parental leave, and active allyship in the workplace. White and Gandy will also discuss the real challenges of balancing career and family, offering honest perspective on letting go of perfection, prioritizing what matters, and finding the confidence to take a seat at the table.
“Manufacturing has changed a lot over the course of my career, but there is still important work to do when it comes to making sure women are supported, heard, and given opportunities to grow,” says White. “This conversation is a chance to talk openly about what has helped, what still needs to change, and how we can all play a role in building a stronger industry.”
For Gandy, the topic is both professional and personal. “Growing up with a working mom in manufacturing shaped how I viewed leadership, work, and family,” notes Gandy. “Now, as I build my own career and family, I have a deeper appreciation for the support systems, policies, and allies that help women.”
The PSTC Women in the Tape Industry program was created to support connection, conversation, and professional development for women across the tape industry. CRG is proud to contribute to that effort by sharing real-world perspectives from two generations of women leaders.
