Dscoop, the global and member-led community of HP Industrial Print customers and partners, opened the Edge Slovenia conference Wednesday, June 10 at the GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Center in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

More than 500 Dscoop members from about 40 countries are gathering to share ideas openly, learn from one another, and build relationships that help move their businesses forward. Much like Ljubljana itself, the Dscoop community thrives on connection, discovery, and the belief that people grow faster when they come together.

Community Comes Together to Address a Changing Industry

Under the theme “The Art of Growth,” the event focuses on practical ideas, collaborative learning, and improved business results. Through the closing party on Friday, June 12, print business owners, production leaders, sales and marketing professionals, IT/data experts, industry partners, and graphic arts students are here together to explore new possibilities for growth, innovation, and collaboration.

That sense of community and idea-sharing is more important than ever, as print businesses navigate rising costs, staffing challenges, rapidly evolving customer expectations, and the accelerating impact of AI on nearly every aspect of operations and growth.

“That is why 500 members from 40 countries are here this week — to connect, learn together and ask each other, ‘How are you doing it?'” said Peter van Teeseling, Dscoop’s executive director. “This network of peers works together to find solutions to today’s and tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities. We did not plan to be in Europe’s “Best Creative City,” but today for this community, it feels exactly right.”

Education with impact is central to the program. Edge Slovenia features peer-led sessions for every role, focused on topics such as AI, leadership, workflow, sales and marketing, culture, and operations. Attendees share lessons learned, proven practices, and steps to improve performance.

The event’s keynote speakers address three topics Dscoop members consistently identify as critical to future growth: AI, culture, and innovation. Futurist Christian Kromme, bestselling author Erin Meyer, and innovation expert Peter Hinssen each bring a unique perspective on helping teams adapt and thrive.

“A single education session can spark a new strategy. A hallway conversation can solve a problem you’ve been wrestling with for months. A discussion with a partner can open the door to new capabilities and opportunities,” said James Nilles, general manager of etikett.de, part of CCL Industries, and Dscoop EMEA Board Chair. “That’s why people invest time in events like Edge — because the value often comes from unexpected moments and interactions.”

Technology, Innovation and Hands-On Discovery

The event’s Solutions Showcase presents the latest in presses, software, automation, workflow, and finishing solutions, with 29 of Dscoop’s year-round partners demonstrating tools that help print businesses scale and operate smarter. The space is buzzing with live demonstrations, equipment, conversations, and hands-on exploration of new tools and technologies.

Those partners include HP, which has a team of experts here to help educate, inspire, and support customers as they navigate the future of digital print.

Attendees will see the HP Indigo 18K and HP Indigo 200K Digital Presses running live in the Solutions Showcase, while also learning about HP’s latest innovations in workflow automation, AI, and connected production. Highlights include HP Nio, an AI-powered assistant designed to help PSPs work smarter and faster; HP PrintOS Order Flow, a connected order intake and management solution that supports HP’s vision for Nonstop Digital Printing; and new advancements across the HP PageWide and Indigo portfolio aimed at improving productivity, flexibility, and profitability.

“The conversations happening this week in Ljubljana are exactly why communities like Dscoop matter,” said Haim Levit, senior vice president and division president, HP Graphics Solutions Business. “Our customers are navigating a period of rapid change, from AI and automation to evolving customer expectations and business pressures. Events like Edge create an opportunity to learn from one another, see new innovations firsthand, and discover practical ways to grow. We’re excited to share the latest advancements across our portfolio, but even more excited to see this community come together to exchange ideas and help shape the future of digital print.”
