HiFlow Solutions debuts AI-powered invoice processing module

HiFlow Solutions has announced the availability of an AI-powered invoice processing module within the HiFlow platform. 

The new module helps reduce manual invoice entry by capturing data from PDF invoices received via email and populating key invoice fields within the HiFlow ERP system. This includes line items, quantities, amounts, purchase order numbers, and vendor information. Prepared invoice data then moves into HiFlow’s standard Accounts Payable workflow for matching, approval routing, and posting. 

“The Accounts Payable Association’s 2026 Industry Benchmarking Report confirms what packaging manufacturers already experience – nearly two-thirds of AP functions still rely heavily on manual invoice processing, and only 6.4% have achieved same-day processing,” states Mariusz Sosnowski, CEO, HiFlow Solutions. “The report identifies AI-assisted invoice capture as one of the highest-impact opportunities in the entire AP workflow. From email inbox to AP workflow

When an invoice arrives by email, HiFlow’s AI module captures the attached PDF and automatically extracts relevant invoice information. Key data fields are then populated within the HiFlow ERP system, creating a prepared invoice record ready for processing. 

From there, the invoice follows HiFlow’s standard Accounts Payable workflow. This includes purchase order matching, approval routing, and posting according to each company’s established business rules and procedures. 

By automating invoice data extraction and entry at intake, the module helps reduce repetitive administrative work. Meanwhile, it also supports a more efficient AP process.
