As the label and printing industries explore new ways to generate enhanced participation, an FTA subcommittee has gone to great lengths to address the workforce. Women of Flexo (WoF) has worked diligently to promote the hiring and advancement of women in the flexographic printing industry.
WoF has ramped up its efforts to continue group growth, which is highlighted by the upcoming Women of Flexo Conference. The second annual event will take place March 13-14, 2024, in Miami, FL, USA.
The group, which is helmed by chair Emily Kalshhoven of MacDermid Graphics Solutions and co-chair Kara Wojnowski of Biorigin, strives to see increased participation in a wide range of role, from the pressroom and prepress department to roles in sales and management, as well as other positions.
