Grafotronic highlights automation and efficiency

10.01.18

The new, updated DCL2 digital finishing machine is equipped with the Gigafast 525 fpm semi-rotary die.

Grafotronic detailed the latest Grafotronic finishing machines and WLE worldwide label equipment at Labelexpo Americas. The main focus this year was automation and products to increase the efficiency in production.

The new, updated DCL2 digital finishing machine is equipped with the Gigafast 525 fpm semi-rotary die, a flexo unit for high speed spot/full varnish, WiFi-Slitting, automatic knife positioning and the non-stop system for continuous runs. The concept is "future safe," the company says, which means that each module works independently and the machine can be upgraded with any module within only eight hours of installation in the future.

The DCL2 and all other Grafotronic machines are business management software ready.

The new high speed HI2 machine for 100% inspection and slitting of labels, foil and cardboard was displayed in the Automation Arena. The WLE Core Cutter HS was also showcased there, as the machine is modern, servo driven and designed for label printers.

WLE has a full range of efficiency products for label printers with folding and sheeting machines, table top rewinders and lifts for easy handling that were discussed at the company's booth.
