Ravenwood Packaging has appointed Wedderburn as its Australian distribution partner, expanding the availability of its linerless labeling technologies across the region through one of Australia and New Zealand’s longest-established providers of labeling, weighing, packaging, and food technology solutions.

Founded in 1896, Wedderburn is a family-owned Australian company with more than a century of experience supplying labeling equipment and related technologies. Under the agreement, Wedderburn will serve as an approved distributor of Ravenwood’s linerless labeling machinery while also supporting customers with linerless label solutions.

The partnership is built on a shared commitment to sustainable packaging. Wedderburn has supported initiatives focused on reducing packaging waste and improving recyclability, including the use of FSC-certified materials and participation in circular economy programs such as RafCycle.

“Australia represents an important growth market for linerless technology, and we’re excited to be partnering with Wedderburn to expand the availability of our solutions across the region,” says Paul Beamish, managing director of Ravenwood Packaging. “By combining Ravenwood’s linerless machinery and coating technology with Wedderburn’s established market presence and technical expertise, we’re creating a strong platform to support customers looking to improve efficiency, reduce waste and adopt more sustainable labelling practices.”

Philip Wedderburn, executive chairman of Wedderburn, comments, “This partnership represents an exciting step forward in our commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable labelling solutions to the Australian market. Ravenwood has established itself as a global leader in linerless technology and we are proud to become both an approved distributor of its machinery and printer partner for linerless labels. Together, we look forward to helping Australian businesses access proven linerless solutions that support greater efficiency, reduced waste and improved sustainability outcomes.”
