Torraspapel has announced a new strategic direction focused on expanding its position as a supplier of specialty papers for labeling, packaging, food service, and other value-added applications.

The Spain-based company said it is implementing a new organizational and financial structure designed to strengthen its focus on specialty papers while supporting continued investment in manufacturing, technology, product development, and sustainability. According to Torraspapel, the strategy will help concentrate both financial and human resources on the growing specialty paper segment.

The company also highlighted ongoing investments in modernizing its manufacturing facilities and expanding production capabilities. Combined with its expertise across multiple papermaking technologies, Torraspapel said the investments will enable it to offer a broader portfolio of specialty papers serving a wide range of applications and markets.

“Our goal is to put our expertise in specialty paper production and new product development at the service of our customers – to collaborate, innovate and partner in creating a new generation of functional papers that not only meet performance standards but actively contribute to the sustainability of the value chains where we participate,” says Armin Van Overbeek, commercial director.

Torraspapel said the strategy reinforces its long-term commitment to developing recyclable, high-performance specialty papers while strengthening its role as a partner to customers seeking more sustainable packaging and labeling solutions.
