Delta ModTech featured a high-speed finishing system, vision inspection demonstration and a compact coating system in booth 3523 at Labelexpo Americas 2018. Booth visitors got to witness the speed and flexibility of the Spectrum finisher. Delta’s truly modular design is the most flexible in the industry, the company says, with new options like the programmable Dienes auto-slit unit, and EDGE laser diecutting or hot foil/emboss can be added at any time without a major rebuild.
Also on display was Delta’s MOD-Track vision system, which fits seamlessly into any Delta ModTech converting system and offers allows for closed loop registration to any die station, product conformance inspection and easy on screen setup.
In addition, the Delta ModTech booth included a demonstration of the Frontier DynaCoat. This compact coater is the ideal solution for lab, pilot or production coating. The slot die strip coating demonstration was well received and the machine was running throughout the show. Delta ModTech acquired Frontier in 2016 and the DynaCoat showcases the synergy of Frontier’s coating and drying expertise with Delta ModTech’s modular approach.
One more place visitors may have spotted Delta ModTech was in the Domino Booth. A Crusader converter with precise part placement and high-speed diecutting capability was featured running inline at 150 m/m with the Domino dual bar k600i.
