INX, Koenig & Bauer forge global LED-UV alliance to boost pressroom performance

INX International Ink Co. has announced a global partnership with Koenig & Bauer to deliver integrated LED-UV, HR-UV, and UV printing solutions aimed at improving productivity and sustainability for commercial printers and packaging converters.

The collaboration brings together Koenig & Bauer’s sheetfed offset press technology with INX’s portfolio of energy-curable inks, creating a more unified printing ecosystem designed to optimize performance from makeready through full production.

Through joint testing on Koenig & Bauer Rapida press platforms, INX’s ink systems have demonstrated the ability to reduce makeready times, improve color stability, and minimize waste, while supporting consistent print quality. The partnership also focuses on lowering energy consumption through advanced LED-UV curing technologies.
