The global warranty program covers defects in materials and workmanship for key components of Vetaphone's corona and plasma treatment systems.

Vetaphone has announced it has expanded its warranty program, now offering customers up to five years of coverage on its corona and plasma surface treatment systems.
The new program extends the company’s standard two-year warranty to optional three- or five-year plans, providing converters, printers, laminators, and extruders with greater cost predictability and added protection against unexpected equipment failures.
“With 75 years of experience in surface treatment, Vetaphone technology has always been cutting-edge with a proven track record of reliability in even the hardest-working environments,” says Anders Dueholm, Support & Spare Parts manager. “As a commitment to our customers, we are offering to extend the standard warranty period from two years to five to provide the added peace of mind that comes from cost predictability and reduced downtime.”
Launched in May 2026, the worldwide warranty program covers defects in materials and workmanship for key components of Vetaphone’s corona and plasma treatment systems. Covered items include generators, transformers, sensors, switches, machine frames, and remote support related to those components.
The warranty is available on systems ranging from 1 kW to 40 kW and is priced on a sliding scale based on system power. If a covered component fails during the warranty period, Vetaphone will replace it at no charge when onsite service is not required.
According to the company, the expanded warranty is designed to help manufacturers improve production reliability while minimizing costly downtime and material waste – an increasingly important consideration as converters seek to maximize uptime and overall equipment effectiveness.
“In today’s increasingly competitive production environments, it is important to take all steps possible to ensure reliability and consistent performance,” Dueholm says. “The extended warranty is intended to reduce some of the unpredictable elements of everyday production and help limit downtime and material waste.”
Vetaphone says the program has already gained traction, with one of the company’s OEM partners adopting the extended warranty as part of its own customer service agreement, providing additional validation of the offering’s value.
The extended warranty is available worldwide for qualifying Vetaphone surface treatment systems.
