Epson has introduced the ColorWorks CW-D3800, a compact and cost-effective color label and badge printer designed for on-demand, low-volume labeling applications.

Engineered for small businesses, the CW-D3800 delivers full-color labels with resolutions up to 600 x 1200 dpi using a PrecisionCore permanent printhead designed for long-term reliability and minimal downtime. The printer supports a variety of media formats, including roll and fanfold, producing labels ranging from 1 to 4.25 inches wide for applications such as product labeling, visitor badges, and shelf tags.

Epson also introduced its Label Boost software suite, which includes Label Boost Designer for label creation, Label Boost Concierge for visitor badge printing, and Label Boost Shipper for color shipping labels. Together, these tools are designed to simplify in-house labeling workflows and reduce reliance on third-party software for basic applications.

The CW-D3800 offers optional Wi-Fi connectivity, mobile printing via the Epson ColorWorks Print App, and compatibility with major operating systems, enabling flexible integration into existing workflows. Designed for ease of use, the system features a color LCD screen, automatic nozzle verification, and simplified media and ink loading.

The ColorWorks CW-D3800 and Label Boost software suite became available in June 2026.
