X-Rite Pantone has announced that MSI’s PRO MAX Series displays have achieved both Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated status, reinforcing their performance in color-critical applications.

The validation confirms that the displays meet Pantone’s standards for accurate color reproduction and realistic rendering of skin tones, providing designers, photographers, and content creators with greater confidence when reviewing and approving digital work.

At the center of the lineup is the PRO MAX 271UPXW12G, which combines 4K resolution with fourth-generation QD-OLED technology and wide color gamut coverage. The display is designed to support high-end creative workflows requiring precise color fidelity across a range of applications.

“Pantone Validation provides independent verification that our displays deliver the true color fidelity and realistic color reproduction our customers expect,” says James Yeh, VP of R&D at MSI.

Pantone’s validation programs assess a display’s ability to reproduce a wide range of standardized colors, while the SkinTone designation focuses specifically on accurate representation of diverse skin tones. Together, the certifications are intended to ensure a more consistent and reliable visual experience across digital content creation workflows.

“By achieving Pantone Validated status, MSI is helping creators reduce uncertainty when reviewing and approving color-critical work on screen,” says Jan Keller, VP of OEM sales at X-Rite Pantone.

The validated MSI PRO MAX Series displays are now available through global distribution channels.
