The Fasson Roll North America division of Avery Dennison Corporation, Painesville, OH, USA, has expanded its 2006 wine label portfolio offering with Fasson Tree-Free facestock. Made from a combination of bamboo pulp, ditch reed and cotton linters, Fasson Tree-Free facestock appears whiter and smoother than other pulp-free products available in the marketplace, the company says, providing a printed appearance ideal for wine while protecting the environment.
The earth-friendly facestock products are matched with Fasson S100R adhesive, allowing consumers or recyclers to remove the label after immersing in water hotter than 100°F.
Fasson Tree-Free products and more than 30 others are showcased in a Vintage 2006 Wine Labeling Swatchbook. The book includes actual samples of uncoated products, coated products, specialty products, and film products designed specifically for use in wine applications. For roll or sheet samples, contact Fasson customer support at 800-944-8511 or visit www.na.fasson.com for more information.
