Among the introductions of new products next week at Labelexpo Americas will be the ELS-D series of narrow web presses by Aquaflex, an F.L. Smithe Company based in Duncansville, PA, USA.
The ELS-D is an addition to the ELS Servo line, and it features dual servo drives on the print head, gearless sleeved print cylinders for infinite repeats, automatic registration, electronic job storage, and remote diagnostics.
“The ELS-D reflects the technology developed for the high-performance FPC Servo Packaging Press applied to the popular ELS Servo platform, says Aquaflex Vice President Mac Rosenbaum. “This is proven technology applied to a proven press platform.”
At Labelexpo, the new ELS-D Series print head will be shown inline on the ELS demo press running very challenging paper and film labels, says Rosenbaum.
On the FPC press, the company will print on Multi-Plastic’s biodegradable film.
