Interfilm Holdings Inc., a distributor of thin gauge plastic films, has moved into new corporate offices that include an expanded Southeast US converting facility. The 90,000 square foot building is in Greenville, SC, USA, two miles from the company’s prior location, and represents a 36 percent increase in size.
The new building provides expanded capacity for operations and warehousing as well as improved material flow. Land is available for future expansion, says Donnie Thompson, president and CEO.
“This expansion allows Interfilm to better serve our customers in the Southeast as well as nationally,” Thompson added. “We’re excited to be in our new facility and feel that its completion demonstrates Interfilm’s commitment to the continued growth of our business.
“In a time of economic uncertainty, we believe this facility will help us keep that pledge to expand our business.”
Interfilm’s products include polyester, polypropylene, polystyrene, cellophane, brushed films, compostable films, and metal adhesion films. The company markets encompass labels and graphic arts, flexible packaging, folding carton, envelopes, flexible plastic air ducts, and industrial films.
The address for the new headquarters and plant is 127 Turningstone Court, Greenville, SC 29611 USA. Interfilm’s mailing address and phone numbers remain the same: PO Box 51128, Piedmont, SC 29673 USA.
Interfilm also operates four other US converting plants, located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Glastonbury and Guilford, CT; and North Aurora, IL.
