The Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has released the second in the series of TESTcast web-based video Q&As. Produced by the association’s Technical Education Services Team (TEST), it arms viewers with information on Foundation of FTA’s “FIRST 4.0 On the Go” Regional Workshops that take place throughout the United States for the remainder of 2009.
Listeners can tune into the TESTcast web page to hear Technical Director Bill Pope and Education Director Joe Tuccitto address questions posed by the industry. Namely: What is the primary objective of the workshops? Why should I attend when I already have the book? My company wants to implement FIRST – how will attending this workshop help?
“These Regional Workshops provide an ideal opportunity for those new to FIRST (Flexographic Image Reproduction Specifications and Tolerances), as well as for those who want to gain a greater understanding of how to go about implementing FIRST in their plants,” says Tuccitto. He adds, “We’ve found people are embracing the TESTcasts. Video is simply a more engaging and dynamic way of disseminating critical information to the masses.”
Regional workshops will be held in the USA as follows:
• September 24 at Cincinnati State in Cincinnati, OH
• September 30 at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, NY
• October 15 at Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, MN
• November 4 at the Best Western in Seattle, WA
