Multi Labels, Daventry, England, has been awarded gold, silver and bronze awards for Wickwar Brewing Company’s Bankers Draft label printed at the Daventry plant. The awards were presented as part of the print competition of the European Flexographic Technical Association (EFTA).
The awards received were Gold for the Labels Line/Screen category sponsored by EFTA, Silver for First Time Entrant sponsored by EFTA, and Bronze for Best Small Company, sponsored by EskoArtwork. The label was printed on an MPS EP410 combination press. “The register tolerance that the machine offers in conjunction with its ‘crisp dot’ technology were paramount in obtaining the end result that the customer wanted to achieve,” says Managing Director Roger Monk. “The judges noted that the dot reproduction compared to the other entrants was excellent.”
The company has a range of presses that will print from one color to 10 color combination work, including four inline screens. Other services include hot and cold foiling, tactile, embossing, and specialist materials, all in 410 mm widths.
“It has been our aim for the last couple of years to achieve excellence in print and our investments have been driven by this,” Monk adds. “The awards are recognition of our high standards and we will continue to invest to remain in the upper echelon of flexographic printing in Europe.”
