ETI Converting Equipment, a Canadian company based in Boucherville, QC, has appointed Sarp Gozen and Altan Bayat from Aas Makina, Istanbul, as ETI’s exclusive agent in Turkey.
The ETI Technology is now recognized worldwide with more than a hundred units sold in 50 countries. With a plant in Canada as well as in China,
ETI manufactures multifunctional offline or inline printing equipment along with silicone and adhesive coating for the pressure sensitive industry. The company maintains that the benefit from adopting the patented technology is substantial material saving.
The company has installed equipment in the USA, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates in recent months. More than 100 units have been sold in 50 countries, ETI reports. In addition to its plant in Canada, the company manufactures in China.
The company recently opened a Pressure Sensitive Product Development division. Equipped with a modern laboratory for developing and testing products that constitute a PS label, the division will be able to propose to ETI customers proven products that will enable them to develop new markets and be more efficient in existing markets.
Frederic La Brie, COO, heads the new division. He will be assisted by chemists and engineers recently hired.
“ETI brings a turnkey solution to label printers; the equipment, the raw materials, the know-how, the QC and now the product development are all important for a successful vertical integration,” says La Brie. “We must respond to our customers, who, by acquiring ETI machines, want to differentiate themselves by producing innovative products while increasing savings made with the ETI technology.”
