McDowell Label, an award-winning label and package printer, has joined forces with Envirocon Technologies, the makers of Lemi Shine, to manufacture the first High Definition UV 4.0 shrink sleeve label to be mass produced in the US market. Lemi Shine, an automatic dishwasher additive, received a new HDUV 4.0 shrink sleeve to accentuate its hourglass figure.
McDowell Label is one of the pioneers of HDUV technology. The company recently launched HDUV 4.0; the largest generation of an all-encompassing printing process based on an entirely digital work flow. HDUV 4.0, according to the company, provides brand owners the benefit to enjoy freedom of design. It allows for the graphic reproduction of brand identity, as intended by design.
In addition to its printing technologies, McDowell Label has partnered with EskoArtwork by investing in the latest prepress solutions. “The result of this partnership delivers a significantly extended tonal range, smooth vignettes and exceptional highlights with eye-catching detail,” says Dave McDowell, founder and chairman of the converting company, based in Plano TX, USA. “This advanced process results in a replicable symphony of color accuracy and consistency of finite detail that is unachievable with other printing platforms.”
The new HD package is in production and currently shipping to major retailers across the US.
