ETI Converting Equipment has introduced the Miniliner, a patent pending release liner aimed at reducing waste. The liner is a 12-micron clear PET or BOPP that can be diecut using conventional dies at speeds up to 150 m/min (492 fpm).
Miniliner is adaptable to ETI’s Cohesio technologies. Cohesio is a line of converting equipment that combines a printing press with adhesive and release liner application so that the converter can create a pressure sensitive substrate and print on it in one pass.
ETI’s Yves Lafontaine says, “Substantial cost savings, less waste, more productivity, mark free diecutting, high speed application, front and back printing, more labels per roll, less roll changes – these are some of the features that the Miniliner brings to the pressure sensitive label industry.”
ETI Converting Equipment is based in Boucherville, QC, Canada.
