Heidelberg (Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG) will launch its complete range of digital print products for commercial and packaging printing under the name Heidelberg Linoprint at this year's drupa in May.
"Heidelberg is using drupa as a platform to unveil the full integration of all its digital print solutions for short and variable runs in the commercial and packaging printing sectors in its own product portfolio,” says Stephan Plenz, member of the management board responsible for Heidelberg Equipment. “This way, our customers benefit from the close interlinking of offset and digital printing that print shops can use to boost their competitiveness further. In future, the name Heidelberg Linoprint will stand for the entire digital print portfolio of Heidelberg."
At drupa – which will be held May 3-16 in Düsseldorf, Germany – Heidelberg will present its digital printing products in Hall 1 and will highlight the integration of offset and digital printing. Products to be presented include:
- Digital printing systems for short runs from Ricoh: the Heidelberg Linoprint C901 and C751
- The new Prinect Digital Print Manager, which the company says can still be integrated into the Prinect workflow with the new Prinect Digital Print Connector (but with a reduced range of functions)
- The Heidelberg Linoprint L (formerly iTS6oo) product line for digital packaging and printing based on inkjet solutions from Heidelberg.
