Martin Automatic exhibited at the recent Printed Electronics USA event in Santa Clara, CA, USA. The show and conference were organized by IDTechEx, and was focused on printed, organic and flexible electronics.
“We were pleasantly surprised at the attendance - more than 1200 attendees the first day,” says Bob Hoffman, regional manager for Martin Automatic. “The markets and technologies surrounding printed electronics and related industries, including thin film photovoltaics, batteries and RFID, are starting to take off. We were able to interact at the show with a number of technology leaders, and they understand that non-stop roll-to-roll production is going to be essential to bring their ideas to market.”
In addition to its own stand, Martin was featured at the popular “Demonstration Street,” a collection of working samples from the printed electronics and related industries. Visitors to that display saw an example of a web, spliced on a Martin non-stop automatic roll changer, in energy storage/battery production processes.
