During the past year, lamination and packaging finishes manufacturer Derprosa has implemented an ambitious business expansion plan, introducing itself into different international markets. The launch into the American market was done with its presentation at Chicago’s Graph Expo, the world’s largest trade fair for the graphic design industry. The company says Its presence at the show was a success as it also announced the imminent opening of its new subsidiary in the USA.
Derprosa is also building its global presence by entering the Asian market. Exports to China and Japan are contributing to the consolidation of the company, which is now present in six continents and sends exports to more than 60 countries.
One of the foundations for continued expansion, both in Spain and the international market, has been the company’s consistent support for its R&D Department. This has made it possible to carry out several product launches over the course of the year. These included the launch, at the Luxe Pack Monaco Fair, of the SoftTouch Metallized products and the Elegance coloured film range.
As a result of this concentrated business expansion strategy, Derprosa ended 2012 with a growth of 10% in sales and a 35% increase in profits. The company says it is looking forward to 2013 with great expectations of growth and with confidence that its relationship with customers and associates will grow stronger.
