Datamax-O’Neil, a global provider of stationary, portable and mobile label and receipt printing solution products, has announced the launch of an adaptive 8-inch/A4 thermal-printing solution at Pack Expo International 2014. The H-Class H-8308p thermal printer features an embedded open-source Linux operating system, standard HP-compatible language (PCL) and expanded Managed Print Service capabilities.
The thermal-printer solution is intended for a wide range of labels, tags and documents and offers energy savings over laser printers.
Datamax-O’Neil’s line of stationary and portable service printers can also provide solutions in a number of critical applications in processing, packaging, labeling, ticketing, warehousing and distributing operations.
The thermal-printer solutions can be operated by hand or attached to forklifts or mobile work stations, such as the MP Compact4 Mark II and E-4204A models.
The H-4212, I-4310E and P-1115S models are intended for retail or commercial applications, and the RL4 allows the printing of barcode labels at the point of application, whether in the warehouse, at the ticket counter or in the field.
