Industrial Inkjet Ltd has partnered with Aztech Converting Systems to demonstrate the company’s high speed, full color single pass inkjet printing capability at its Las Vegas, NV, USA location.
The IIJ ColourPrint 142i is integrated onto an Aztech servo driven web handling system, providing a print width of 5.6” and speeds up to 164 fpm. The IIJ ColourPrint 142i features Konica Minolta KM1024iSHE 6pl drop printheads, which are designed for ease of use and reliability.
The installation provides demonstrations and training to clients and potential clients seeking convenient digital printing solutions. The demonstration center offers hands-on experience with Konica Minolta printheads and in-depth customer training.
IIJ inkjet print engines are available in a variety of print widths to support applications. The company has over 150 unit installations worldwide.
“We’re delighted to announce this partnership with Aztech, which will enable customers to see at first hand the massive benefits of high-speed, full color single pass inkjet printing capabilities,” says John Corrall, managing director and founder of IIJ. “These engines are popular digital printing modules for existing or new transport systems capable of speeds of more than 250 feet per minute. The modules and base systems are both available in wider widths, as well. Our print engines have been successfully integrated onto a variety of flexographic presses such as Nilpeter, Focus and Mark Andy, providing a hybrid printing solution.
“With variable data capability, applications include printing labels, barcodes, packaging and product decoration of either flexible or rigid substrates,” he adds. “The engines are available in monochrome or four-colors with options of white and varnish printing.”
“We look forward to welcoming interested people to our Las Vegas facility,” says Laura Kitzmann, IIJ’s business development manager. “They’ll be most impressed with the system and appreciate the opportunities to learn more about how inkjet works, our systems and the printheads available from Konica Minolta.”
