Anderson & Vreeland has announced that Rick Hubert, safety administrator for the company, has received a grant certificate awarded by Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation CEO and administrator, Steve Buehrer.
The Bureau of Worker’s Compensation has awarded Hubert the grant for the process of implementing robotic technology into production. He worked diligently over six months writing the grant summary, which covered everything from identifying the problems the company was experiencing to providing a cost-benefit analysis for a proposed solution.
“I take great pride in our safety record of the past 18 years,” says Hubert. “We have all worked hard to make it what it is today. With the new laminator in use, part of our employee safety is assured.”
According to Anderson & Vreeland, robotic technology has improved the safety and well-being of all employees, which is a top priority for the company. It has also made the work environment a safer and more enjoyable place.
