AWT Labels & Packaging has announced changes to its sales personnel, effective as of February, 2016. After 31 years in the labels and packaging industry, Dave Olson is transitioning into retirement. He will be consulting for AWT for the next 22 months, ensuring his breadth of knowledge, specifically in the medical device community, continues.
Meanwhile, with over two decades of experience as a leader in the packaging and labeling industry, Blake Insteness has worked alongside AWT personnel as a packaging engineer customer since 1995. After joining the AWT sales force in 2011, Insteness has been collaborating closely with Olson for the past two years as he takes on the succession as AWT’s medical device point person. Insteness is already actively involved in both the Medical Device Resource Group (MDRG) and the Institute for Packaging Professionals (IOPP).
AWT has also announced that Mike Dispenzahas joined the AWT team, bringing 25-plus years working in the label and packaging industries. His career includes key roles in business development and national account management for a major label converter. Dispenza, New Jersey sales staff, has focused in the markets of health and beauty, food and beverage, household products, and automotive brands.
Finally, Dave Tovar has a proven track record in developing and managing new business for multiple national accounts. His experience developing and managing flexographic packaging media for strategic national accounts across the United States equips him with a great strength to add to AWT’s talented and seasoned sales force.
