InterFlex Group has endorsed Bellissima DMS, the FTA’s 2018 Technical Innovation Award winner, saying it delivers a simple solution to the complex issues faced in flexographic printing.
Bart Wright, director NA Graphics at InterFlex Group, comments, “At InterFlex we believe the Bellissima technology from Hamillroad is a game-changer in the flexible printing industry. The traditional challenges flexo printing faced versus roto gravure are simplified with this technology.”
Wright credits the partnership between Hamillroad Software and Apex International as the winning formula. “The introduction of Bellissima DMS and the support given through Apex International and their patented GTT anilox technology, combined with the technical screening, knowledge, and support from Hamillroad, has proved the perfect combination to assess the power of this innovative technology solution.”
InterFlex Group is a global packaging supplier with over four decades experience in the flexographic market. The group continually invests in the most advanced flexo technologies to ensure that customers receive the best production capabilities and a flexible and responsive service.
Wright continues, “We look forward to further testing with Bellissima and competing in the industry against gravure with this new printing innovation.”
“Receiving this endorsement by such a well-regarded company in the industry further demonstrates that the best-of-breed technology solution is working," says Nick Harvey, managing director at Aniken Graphics International. "It’s working across printers, across trade shops and across countries. With Bellissima DMS we’re simplifying the process, removing the problems and redefining what is possible in flexo.”
Using Bellissima, high-quality prints equivalent to 350-450 lpi are produced with excellent image reproduction and no color shifts on misregistration. Utilizing fixed palette inks, the screening delivers smooth flat tints and moiré free prints. Vignettes fade smoothly to nothing enabled by printed highlight dots as low as 1.0% and shadow dots up to 99.5%.
