FLAG (Flexo Label Advantage Group LLC) has launched www.flagadvantage.com – a new website designed to help interested converters learn about the benefits of FLAG and how it helps its members grow their businesses. A useful webinar scheduling tool is included in the new launch. “Member Connections,” a program introduced online in 2015, helps FLAG members with industry/business advice, networking, catastrophic recovery planning, equipment sales, outsourcing and more.
FLAG is also expanding its Member benefits with “Talent Connection powered by FLAG.” This new program addresses the current workforce challenges by providing channels to connect flexographic students and professionals with leading independent label converters in the flexographic industry.
“Talent Connection powered by FLAG” matches resumes of qualified potential candidates with the needs of currently over 75 independent label converter member companies.
According to John McKay, president and founder, “We’re thrilled to launch this new website and excited to try and help meet the talent pool needs of our converter members with 'Talent Connection powered by FLAG.' While we continue to deliver significant bottom-line savings to our members for a growing list of equipment and consumables, new services like these are typically the type of benefits that can only be tapped into by larger, multi-site converting conglomerates. We’re ensuring all of our members, regardless of company size, have the opportunity to access these services.”
FLAG also offers its members assistance in penetrating new markets and application niches, and provides access to new resources. These benefits are delivered through the website, as well as in small peer groups, periodic Lunch & Learn programs, quarterly calls and an Annual Members Meeting.
FLAG will be exhibiting in Booth 1557 at Labelexpo Americas. Member companies and vendor partners will staff the booth throughout the show to answer any questions. Additionally, FLAG is offering a show special of 50% savings on new member initiation fees to any converter who signs on at the show.
