Channeled Resources Group, a business specializing in coated, treated and laminated papers and films, has announced announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Development Center, a regional partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
Cynthia White, president and CEO of CRG, states, “We are excited to get the word out that our company is now certified as a women-owned business to the pressure sensitive, tape, release liner and packaging world. We appreciate the opportunity to promote our business and the fact that we are owned and managed by women, to our customers and suppliers.”
WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Development Center is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
