With the technology offerings of the Canon and Océ brands, Canon Solutions America helps companies of all sizes improve sustainability, increase efficiency, and control costs through high volume, continuous feed, digital and traditional printing, and document management solutions. Registration is now open for this three-day in-depth digital print training session here.
Led by David Hunter, G7 expert trainer, this three-day training event covering a multitude of print applications, including digital print, color management, process control, implementation and optimization, will feature live demonstrations of applying the G7 methodology in print production workflows and technology. G7 is Idealliance’s global industry-leading set of specifications for achieving gray balance and is the driving force for achieving visual similarity across all print processes.
The G7 methodology is designed to align all print technologies for visual consistency, process and quality control, and color workflow management.
“As an industry leader in technology, innovation and service as an OEM with a commitment to service, technology, and development, Idealliance is proud to partner with Canon to showcase the G7 methodology and give users an exceptional first-hand experience with implementation on a wide gamut of digital print technologies, from a world-renowned trainer, David Hunter. With their technical demo facility located centrally in greater Chicago, we are looking forward to this training event to serve print service providers, OEMs, color management specialists, creatives, brands and other members of the global print and packaging supply chain,” says Jordan Gorski, Idealliance global director of certification programs.
This G7 Training session is open to the public for participants to achieve G7 Expert and G7 Professional Certification. Participants must register online at Idealliance.org prior to attending. Upon the completion of the three-day training at Canon, participants will leave with extensive practical hands-on experience in G7 implementation and print management. G7 Experts and Professionals must complete an online examination to verify their aptitude in G7, color management, and process control to help print service providers as well as brands, creatives, and other print supply chain partners achieve G7 Master Qualification.
