MacDermid Graphics Solutions (MGS), a division of MacDermid Performance Solutions (MPS), has announced the appointment of Karina Mendes Cunha to sales manager for the MGS-Brazil team in Latin America.
Cunha has extensive experience managing strategic accounts at her previous companies, where she was responsible for much of the financial success of the clients she managed. In her new role, she will be implementing and managing the sales activities, generating growth of MacDermid’s growing LUX ITP platform, and further promoting our extensive portfolio of photopolymer plates and platemaking systems. “Karina’s knowledge, skills and experience will ensure further success of the MGS sales program in Brazil,” states Tom Caplinger, senior business director, Americas.
Cunha earned a Business Administration - International Trade degree from Universidade de Região de Joinville and postgraduate degrees in Strategic Business from Fundação Getulio Vargas and in Logistics from Universidade de São Paulo. In addition to her native Portuguese, Cunha is fluent in both English and Spanish and brings years of experience working throughout Latin America.
She will be based in São Paulo, Brazil, and will be reporting to Paulo Salles, general manager – MacDermid Graphics Solutions, Brazil.
