Having a west coast and South American presence expands our geographic footprint and provides us deeper capabilities in stand up pouch, plate making and flexographic printing."
Temkin International, founded in 1980, is a provider of rollstock, stand-up pouches and floral sleeves and operates manufacturing facilities in Payson, UT and Bogota, Colombia with offices in Miami, FL and Toronto, Canada. The company is AIB certified.
Danny Temkin, founder of Temkin International, comments, "Since starting the business in 1980, we at Temkin have been at the forefront of providing our customers with the highest quality packaging through best in class printing and use of innovative converting technology. I'm tremendously proud of our company, whose over 500 employees across three countries serve our clients in a first-class way. Temkin is excited to partner with PPC. Together, PPC and Temkin will continue to deliver high quality products and service to our clients."
Eric Kanter, Managing Director of PPC's owner Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, says, "We believe Temkin is an excellent complement to PPC, enhancing the product offering to the market while embodying the same service-focus culture as PPC. We congratulate Mr. Temkin on his tremendous success, and we're thrilled to partner with Lynn Abplanalp and the rest of the Temkin employees."
The combined company will operate under the name PPC Flexible Packaging and its go to market strategy for the produce and floral segments will continue to operate under the Temkin brand.
