TCI Co., a global provider of health food and skincare products, has adopted HP Indigo digital printing to expand flexible packaging production for its global customers. In a strategic move toward bringing packaging production in-house, TCI purchased an HP Indigo 20000 digital press for flexible packaging via HP Indigo channel partner GrandTech.
The HP Indigo 20000 press will be installed this month at the Pingtung facility.
“The new HP digital capabilities will enable TCI to deliver products with personalization to attract consumer loyalty, as well as the flexibility to fit brand requests. We want to offer products each with a unique ID to enable unlimited imagination when connecting to the Internet,” says Vincent Lin, chairman of TCI Co.
TCI also puts high priority on sustainability in production, which will be supported by the new acquisition. “We pride ourselves on being a green manufacturer and focus on building a circular economy, sourcing renewable energy, and achieving net-zero carbon emissions,” adds Lin.
Today, TCI serves over 1,100 brand partners in 54 countries. “TCI’s move embraces the power of HP Indigo digital printing, offering a twofold disruption of the flexible packaging market with variable data printing for engaging personalization and print security, in addition to the incremental benefit of a more sustainable solution,” notes Oran Sokol, director and general manager, HP Industrial business, Asia Pacific & Japan.
