From January 31 to February 1, 2020, the Cradle to Cradle Congress, which has been held annually since 2014, will take place in Berlin for the first time. This event brings together players from business, science, education, politics and society and is the world's largest meeting of the C2C community. The hubergroup, a driver of sustainable recycling management, will function as a main partner for the Congress.
With the participation of Heiner Klokkers, CEO of the hubergroup, at the congress, the international printing ink manufacturer is attaching corresponding importance to the subject of sustainability and environmental protection. "We are aware of our social responsibility and see it as our task not only to optimize our own products and processes, but also to pass on our knowledge and thus provide a bit of education," says Klokkers.
Bernd Groh, global product and portfolio manager SF/UV hubergroup, adds, "Sustainability is a topic that concerns us all. Only if we all pull together can we make a difference and change the market in the long term. That is why we are looking forward to the exchange and networking with strategic partners.”
One of these partners is Carlsberg, which will operate a joint stand with the hubergroup at the C2C Congress. In cooperation with the beer producer, the printing ink specialist will demonstrate its commitment to sustainable products. The manufacturer's bottle labels have already been printed since beginning of 2019 with the eco-offset ink Premium Plus, which is certified in silver by Cradle to Cradle.
A team of experts from the hubergroup will not only be available at the exhibition stand to answer questions from the press, customers and an interested trade audience, but will also be available to answer questions in interactive workshops on the topics of Plastics & Papers and C2C & Healthy Printing.
