FTA has announced the three recipients of a 2020 FTA President’s Award, given to individuals selected by the Association’s president for displaying an unwavering commitment to aiding it in its endeavors. This year's honorees are Kim Madigan, Keith Nagle, and Corey Arnold.
The recipients were announced during the FTA Awards Presentation on April 22, which kicked off the first of three days of Virtual Forum 2020.
“The diversity of individual talent and the variety of contributions these people have made to the flexographic industry, through FTA, have certainly enhanced the organization’s value to its membership,” says FTA president Mark Cisternino.
Madigan, director of corporate color management at Smyth Companies, has been a proponent of FIRST Individual and Company Certification since the programs’ inception. She serves on the FTA Board of Directors and FFTA Board of Trustees, and has judged the Excellence in Flexography Awards multiple times. In a pinch, she assumed the role of Forum 2020 co-chair to see through the planning and preparation for this year’s (now virtual) event.
Nagle, global director of business development at Phoseon Technology, embodies FTA’s mission to serve the flexographic industry by aiding the Association, other trade organizations and companies at every step of the package printing workflow. He has chaired Forum sessions and Fall Conference 2019, carries FIRST Implementation Specialist Certification and will join FTA and FFTA’s Boards later this year.
Arnold, president and CEO of Bars and Tone Media Productions, has been at the forefront of FTA’s audiovisual presentations at Forum and Fall Conference for some 20 years. His expertise has raised the bar for FTA’s in-person events, and the Association has reaped the benefits of his business acumen when identifying technology that adds value to the attendee experience
