Domino is continuing to grow its digital printing business with entrance into the corrugated sector.
Domino will introduce X630i, its first digital inkjet product offering for corrugated via a virtual launch event on June 16. In addition to this automated inkjet printing solution, Domino will also launch a new ink set based on novel water-based ink technology.
With nearly 1,000 worldwide industrial installations based on this proven and reliable inkjet platform, Domino will launch its first digital inkjet press for the corrugated industry on what would have been the first day of drupa 2020.
“The single pass Domino X630i digital inkjet press has been designed for everyday corrugated production, allowing corrugated box printers to maximize productivity and efficiency, and minimize cost, ink consumption and waste,” says Matt Condon, business development manager at Domino. “It will enable them to profitably develop short and medium run market opportunities, facilitate new streams of business, and provide a more complete range of capability for their customer base.”
This virtual event will be moderated by Sean Smyth, who will take a look at the corrugated sector market trends, the impact Covid-19 is having on these, and the growing trend to adopt digital technology. Attendees will hear from Kentucky-based Independent II’s Finn MacDonald and David Ellen, global divisional director, Domino Digital Printing. Condon will illustrate the key features and benefits of the X630i corrugated press.
