With more than 25 years of global marketing and product management experience in the North American and European adhesives and plastics markets, Kevin Clunie, vice president of sales and marketing for Mactac Performance Adhesives Group, will be a featured panelist at next week’s 2021 TLMI Spring Summit.
Clunie will join four other industry supplier experts for the panel discussion, which will be held virtually on April 14 at 12:30 EDT.
Panelists will discuss current market conditions and challenges in the North American label and narrow web printed packaging industry, as well as equipment and consumables trends. They will provide insight on how today’s trends will continue to shape the industry in 2021 and beyond.
“Although the past year has presented unique challenges, it’s an exciting time to be in this industry and there is opportunity ahead,” says Clunie. “I’m looking forward to sharing more about what Mactac has been seeing in the market as well as what we expect in the future.”
The TLMI Spring Summit is a 2-day virtual event beginning Wednesday, April 14 at 9 a.m. and concluding Thursday, April 15 at 5 p.m. The goal of the summit is to provide attendees with the information and resources needed to succeed and thrive in the coming year as resilient business leaders. In his career, Clunie has excelled at understanding and predicting customer and market needs. He joined Mactac at the start of 2020 and leads the North American Roll Label business. He was integral in Mactac’s recent acquisition of Duramark Products, formally Ritrama USA, which strategically expanded Mactac’s locations, technology, capacity, and adhesive formulations capabilities. Additionally, on behalf of Mactac and its membership in the CELAB (Circular Economy for Labels) global consortium, Clunie leads the coalition’s Recycler Network Workstream, which promotes the use and creation of recycling networks and solutions.
