Lemu Group has teamed with Lemorau Machines to expand its product range, providing a full and complete line of converting and finishing options to meet every customer need.
From core cutters and inspection slitter rewinders to completely modular digital finishing and converting units automated with roll label boxing units, Lemu Group is delivering products to help label converters focused on Lean Manufacturing to keep up with increased demand at affordable prices.
“Our ability to assess any converter's needs and deliver an affordable solution to their requirement gives us a very unique position," says Andre Beaudoin, leader of Lemu Group USA's sales and marketing team. "Converters need cost effective, easy to operate equipment that works right out of the crate. In some cases the correct solution allows them to produce more, with less asset expenditure or redundant manpower – working smarter, not harder”.
For example, the Lemorau ICR 3 inspection slitter rewinder produces excellent quality at high speeds. The inspection can be conducted with a missing label detection system or with a 100% or 200% video inspection system.
The ICR 3 can reach maximum speeds of 200 m/m, and the unit comes in multiple widths. The ICR 3’s electronic web guide system with ultrasonic sensor also enables guiding of opaque and clear materials.
The unit’s user-friendly software and quick job changes make it practical and easy to use. With the web guide allied with Lemorau’s tension control system – in tandem with its standard features– the Lemorau ICR3 provides a cost-effective, high performance solution. Each rewinder and unwinder tensions are fully independent and adjustable on the touch screen panel, which is controlled by servo motors.
“Too many people are spending large amounts to continually repair inspection slitter rewinders whose electronics are obsolete and parts virtually unavailable or excessively expensive," adds Beaudoin. "We deliver products that perform and that are built for the next 20 years of operation, no matter if it’s a core cutter or a large automated converting line.”
