During Flexo & Labels Expo 2024, Sun Chemical will showcase its complete portfolio of solutions for the narrow web, tag and label markets, highlighting the sustainability benefits of its latest product and service innovations. Flexo & Labels Expo 2024 takes place June 24-28 in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
“We’re looking forward to meeting with our customers across Latin America during this important show and demonstrating what we’ve been doing to meet their printing and sustainability needs,” said Mike Wouters, general manager, Sun Chemical Brazil. “We’re excited to talk about how our wide selection of inks, coatings and adhesives, along with our color management services and in-plant excellence, can meet each customer’s individualized packaging requirements, improve productivity, and present them with new ideas.”
A leader in driving sustainability through research and development, Sun Chemical will unveil products at its booth located at Street A-2, stand number 3 that align with the company’s 2030 Sustainability Agenda and are part of its SunEco portfolio of offerings. Product solutions on display that enable sustainability will include:

Retention primer, ink and coating systems, including SolarWave UV LED flexo inks, which also meet industry design requirements for recycling protocols. Presentations of SolarWave UV LED inks will be on display three times a day at Nilpeter’s Stand #16 using its FB-14 Model D flexo printing press.
SolarWave FSP UV LED food compliant inks that have been independently tested and certified as non-ecotoxic, making them suitable for compostable packaging. Samples on the stand will be printed on a compostable pouch created in partnership with Flexprinter based in Belgium.
