Fortis Solutions Group is also fortifying its digital label printing business with four HP Indigo WS6X00 series digital presses, strategically positioned in its Virginia and Michigan facilities. Fortis Solutions Group installed its first HP Indigo 4050 Digital Press in 2004 and has grown its investment with HP over time to provide customers a wider range of high-value applications, including pressure sensitive labels, extended booklet printing, variable data, multi-ply coupons and flexible packaging.
Digital printing now represents 25% of the company’s total revenue and is a huge driver of Fortis Solutions Group’s growth and go-to-market sales strategy. It enables the company to reduce inventory, printing the exact quantities needed on demand, and offer customers personalization, customization and better revision control. With the HP Indigo WS6X00 series digital presses, Fortis Solutions Group produces outstanding print quality and reduces waste, providing cost savings to its customers.
“With HP Indigo digital printing technology, we give customers powerful advantages, including faster turnaround times, excellent print quality, impeccable color management and a solutions-oriented approach,” says CEO John Wynne, Jr. “As an early digital adopter, our relationship with HP has been critical in helping us unlock huge benefits for our clients to help them grow their share in the marketplace.” Fortis Solutions Group is currently upgrading its HP Indigo WS6X00 series Digital Press’ in-line primers to Michelman DP680 Primers for added versatility and lower primer-related costs.
