BST Pro Mark donates inspection unit to college
BST Pro Mark, of Elmhurst, IL, has donated a ProScan 2000 web inspection system to Western Michigan University, which has been installed on its 23" four-color Cerutti gravure press in Kalamazoo, MI.
“With over a thousand of our systems being used for inspection on gravure presses around the world, it was natural for us to support Western Michigan University and their excellent program,” says John Thome, vice president of marketing.
Western Michigan University has an enrollment of more than 30,000. The university specializes in management level training in printing and imaging, and has been ranked by US News & World Report as among the nation’s top 100 public institutions. In addition to the Cerutti gravure press, the Pilot Plant facility has a Comco flexo press.
