Raflatac constructing
plant in Hungary
Raflatac, the Finland based supplier of label stock, has announced the start of construction of a terminal in Tatabánya, Hungary, to service Eastern Europe.
The new terminal is scheduled to begin operations during the first quarter of 2004.
Raflatac’s current sales office in Budapest will be moved to the new site, along with the company’s terminal operations in Austria.
“This latest move is our response to the increasing demand for label stock and the related services in central and eastern Europe,” says Pauli Annala, Raflatac’s area sales director. “In the future, the Tatabánya terminal will be the heart of our operations in the region.”
