Lancer Label, based in Omaha, NE, USA, is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a label and sticker printer.
Lancer Label has come a long way in half a century. In the beginning, founder Harry Riley of Riley Advertising started a labeling business that focused on selling two- and three- color labels for the banking industry. Though Lancer Label was founded in 1964, the company didn’t acquire that name, or its first printing press, until four years later. The rest is history.
“When Riley started Lancer Label, he had no idea the impact his new business would have,” says Fred Nelson, general sales manager, Lancer Label. “For 50 years, Lancer Label has been providing high-quality labeling and shipping solutions for businesses, and we’re hoping to continue Riley’s legacy for at least another 50 years. We’re proud of the longevity of the company, and the excellent work we continue to produce.
