Independent converters deserve the resources these big companies are getting too. That’s why FLAG will have a booth at Labelexpo this year to demonstrate the programs and benefits of membership in the association while also hosting a roundtable event for 20 independent converters who will – for the first time ever – be able to experience a popular FLAG member benefit. Using the “Think Forward” approach, FLAG has been able to set new goals for the association, and with its members and vendor partners. FLAG will discuss how it can continue to exponentially increase value for its independent converter members and committed vendor partners.

These label films offer excellent ink adhesion and printability and very good moisture resistance. The clear film has enhanced clarity, and the white film’s opacity, brightness, and gloss are also of increased quality and may allow the converter to eliminate white ink. The TLF portfolio is compatible with flexo and gravure presses, energy-curable inks, and water-based, solvent, and solventless laminators. In addition, the new polypropylene film line allows the company to provide customers with larger rolls that offer more lineal footage. The Toray team will also be sharing information about new PSL label films that are in development. That diverse portfolio will include uncoated and coated BOPP facestocks for clear, metalized, and cavitated and solid core white label applications.
