It was 1984 when Carl Hanson and his wife Lucille decided to start their own business. They looked at many small businesses for sale in the area, but none of them seemed quite right. So they created their own company, Label Aid, which has grown steadily and serves customers near and far.
Carl installed an analog flexographic press, a technology that was state-of the-art at the time. Over the next two decades, as Carl’s kids grew, so did his business. Label Aid mastered the art of great “customer experience” long before that became a popular business term, and their customer-first philosophy nurtured a stable of loyal customers that expanded steadily. And as the kids grew into adults, they took on active roles in the family business.
