Gidue has announced that it has teamed with Indian converter Speclabels on the purchase and installation of another flexo press.
Speclabels was founded in Kolkata by owner and director Amit Kataruka. In less than 10 years of existence, it has acquired a flexo printing machine with two colors and a letterpress with six colors. The company now adds a Gidue MX with a 370 mm width, eight colors, Delam Relam and turn bar attachment with a cold foiling system.
Since its launch, the Gidue MX has provided what Speclabels describes as the highest quality results without a great investment in price. Due to its short web-path, it minimizes setup waste and delivers optimal printing register over time. The machine also does not require any maintenance or operator intervention.
“I’ve decided to invest in Gidue technology since I’ve seen a lot of Gidue flexo presses running and I have been always impressed and satisfied with the easiness of the operations and the good service back-up,” says Kataruka.
Since its inception in 2006, Speclabels has been gradually specializing in Prime Labels, with an emphasis on food and beverage, personal care and pharmaceuticals, and labels in the drum, performance, security and promotional markets.
“We are very proud to see that our technology has another confirmation of its great impact on customers worldwide,” says Maurizio Trecate, Gidue vice president of sales. “MX printing machine is really the top entry-level press, ideal for every converter that looks for the best quality results with the lowest costs and waste.”
