Xeikon has announced that it is creating a dedicated sales, service and support operation in Australia and New Zealand. The new division will be fully operational in February 2017.
The decision follows the acquisition of Xeikon by Flint Group following a thorough review of synergies between the companies.
“After assessing the opportunities for both companies, we have decided the time is right to establish a direct sales and service organization in Australia and New Zealand," says Bent Serritslev, managing director Asia Pacific. "It will handle the full range of Xeikon digital presses and solutions for labels, folding cartons and commercial printing.”
At the same time, Xeikon will cease its collaboration with dealer Absolute Electronics. “Xeikon would like to thank Absolute Electronics for their great long-term service and support in the region and helping us to build such a firm foundation," adds Serritslev. "We will work closely with Absolute Electronics during the transitional period to ensure our customers remain a top priority.”
